Lead Solar Technician

Renu Energy Solutions is currently looking to hire Solar Technicians in our Charlotte, NC office.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of solar hot water panels and solar electric panels on residential and light commercial roofs
  • Assisting Solar Installation Managers in completing solar energy system installations
  • Install solar panels on residential
  • Install roof railings and stand offs
  • Properly flash and seal all roof penetrations
  • Adhere to collector configuration for solar array
  • Clean job site when completed
  • Installation of daylighting systems and other related solar and energy saving products
  • Local travel required to and from jobs
  • Reliable transportation required to get to and from each office
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required for larger multi-day jobs
  • Adherence to Renu Energy Solutions quality standards
  • Adherence to Renu Energy Solutions safety standards
  • Adherence to Renu Energy Solutions aesthetic and system performance standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of remodeling, home building, contracting, carpentry, HVAC installations/service
  • Desire to get into renewable energy industry and build a career with a regional solar leader
  • Pride in your work
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly growing business environment
  • A 2 year degree is preferred but not required
  • High School diploma is required
  • Drug testing
  • Clean driving record
  • Clean criminal background

Controller:

The role of the Controller is to maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. This position will be responsible to ensure all finance and accounting functions including: month end closings, preparing financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and inventory management.

  • Establish controls and processes of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Fixed Assets
  • Provide financial statement analysis, including actual to budget and prior year variance analysis.
  • Anticipate and evaluate business requirements to ensure processes, organization and financial systems appropriately evolve to support the business.
  • Lead monthly/quarterly/year end close process, by partnering with bookkeeping, while maintaining adherence with corporate finance/accounting guidelines to ensure timely and accurate closes to eliminate out of period adjustments.
  • Prepare projections, budgets, and long term planning reports

Job Requirements

  • 5 years Previous Accounting experience
  • Previous Auditing Experience
  • Construction experience preferred
  • Able to obtain, analyze and evaluate data
  • Able to multi-task and organize
  • Able to prioritize and meet due dates (formal and self-imposed) with minimal supervision
  • Self-reliant and has initiative to carry out assigned tasks or improve processes
  • Able to independently solve practical problems

Job Description

The Call Specialist for Inside Sales focuses efforts on outbound calls for inbound leads to communicate to potential clients the benefits of taking control on their energy by investing in solar. The goal is to educate the inbound lead with basic knowledge of how solar systems operate, identify if they are a good candidate for a system, and schedule an in-home consultation.

Responsibilities/Tasks will include:

  • Determine lead quality based on internal scoring system
  • Outbound calls to inbound leads to discover their best path to solar
  • Professionally represent Renu and its offerings by creating excitement with potential clients
  • Execute detailed data entry in our CRM
  • Review daily call logs and existing leads for prioritization.
  • Support the efforts of the outside sales team at Renu
  • Contribute a team environment by sharing best practices, maintaining a winning mindset, and embracing the “Renu Way”

Qualifications:

High school diploma required 1-2+ prior outbound calling experience preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned quotas and goals Proficiency in the use of computer software programs including Microsoft Excel is essential

Experience with CRM systems preferred
